Dean Geyer
Dean Geyer was born on March 20th 1986 in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a singer who finished third on "Australian Idol" in 2006. In May 2008 Dean joined the cast of "Neighbours" where he currently plays the role of Ty Harper.
Dean was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is the oldest of three children. His parents are named Debbie and Keith. Dean has two younger sisters called Jessica and Tatum. Dean moved to Melbourne, Australia at the age of 15. Dean attended Melbourne High School and graduated in 2004.
Dean\'s interest in music began early in his childhood. The first song he ever wrote is called "Change". He wrote it about his move from South Africa to Australia when he was 16 years old. Dean actually performed the song on "Australian Idol".
Dean Geyer has a recording contract with SonyBMG which was a result of being on "Australian Idol". His first album "Rush" was released on the 26th of May 2007.
Dean is currently dating Lisa Origliasso from "The Veronicas". He met her at the 2007 ARIA Awards and they are just recently engaged.
