Caitlin Stasey
Caitlin Jean Stasey who was born on May 1st 1990 is an Australian actress who is best known for her role as Rachel Kinski on "Neighbours". She has also played the role of Francesca Thomas in "The Sleepover Club". In the year 2000 at the age of 10 Caitlin Stasey travelled the world as a member of the "Australian Girls Choir" to take part in the recording of Peter Allen\'s " I Still Call Australia Home" song for a "QANTAS" television commercial.
Caitlin had a career breakthrough when she was given the role of Francesca Thomas in "The Sleepover Club" in 2003. One of her co-stars in "The Sleepover Club" Eliza Taylor-Cotter would also be her future "Neighbours" co-star. After a year of studying at "Star Of The Sea College" in Melbourne and attending many auditions Caitlin Stasey was awarded the role of Rachel Kinski. She got the part in April 2005 and her first episode was aired on the 18th of August that year.
Caitlin has had a range of storylines to deal with ranging from parental bereavement to finding her first love.
Caitlin was nominated for the award of "Fave TV Star" at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in 2007 but unfortunately she lost to Bree Amer from "Big Brother".
Caitlin has one younger sister named Victoria.
